Full-Time Optometrist Opportunity in the Hudson Valley | Physician-Owned Ophthalmology Practice | No Evenings | Established Patient Base
A well-established, physician-owned ophthalmology practice in Fishkill, New York, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Optometrist to join its experienced eye-care team.
This full-time Hudson Valley optometrist opportunity offers an immediate patient base, excellent clinical support, advanced diagnostic technology and the ability to practice full-scope medical optometry alongside experienced ophthalmologists.
The position includes a competitive base salary of $160,000–$180,000, additional productivity-based earning potential, comprehensive benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule with no evening hours.

Practice Full-Scope Primary & Medical Optometry
The incoming Optometrist will have the opportunity to provide:
- Comprehensive eye examinations
- Medical eye care
- Glaucoma management
- Diabetic eye disease management
- Dry eye diagnosis and treatment
- Specialty contact lens care, if desired
- Cataract and surgical co-management
- Preoperative and postoperative patient care
Advanced Optometry Technology
Provide high-quality patient care using modern diagnostic and treatment technology, including:
- OCT and advanced retinal imaging
- Visual field testing
- Digital ophthalmic imaging
- BlephEx®
- IPL therapy for dry eye disease
- Advanced dry eye diagnostic and treatment protocols
Collaborate With Experienced Mentors
The Optometrist will work alongside experienced ophthalmologists, highly trained technicians and a dedicated administrative team. This collaborative MD/OD environment allows the incoming doctor to manage a broad range of patients while having access to ophthalmic consultation and surgical care when needed.
The practice’s experienced clinical support team allows its doctors to spend more of their time providing excellent patient care.
Premier Onsite Optical Department
The practice includes an onsite optical department staffed by experienced opticians. Patients benefit from convenient, coordinated care extending from their eye examination through personalized eyewear selection and optical services.
Optometrist Compensation and Benefits
