High Surgical Volume Position in Appleton, WI. Join a very busy, doctor owned group in one of America’s Top 50 Cities! Excellent Compensation and Benefits and a well regarded Private Group Practice.
Our 25-doctor practice is growing. We are looking for a board certified/eligible ophthalmic surgeon to assist in the care of a growing number of its current patients and assist in transition planning over the next several years. The practice has a large referral base from both internal doctors as well as outside optometrists and ophthalmologists. No routine care.
We own a state-of-the-art laser vision correction center and ambulatory surgery center with LenSx Femto Laser. Two satellite clinics also offer office-based surgery suites with Femto second cataract surgery capability.
We also have optical shops and optometric support for eye examinations and contact lens fittings.
Salary guarantee with incentive package and bonus structure with a potential for practice / ASC ownership.
The ophthalmologist will see 30-40 patients per day and perform 15-20 surgery and laser procedures per week initially, with increased volumes anticipated.
There is a generous salary with a production bonus. Most surgeries are performed in a physician owned, ophthalmology only, ASC.
Teaching opportunity available for optometric students and medical residents.
