An established, respected practice in Texas is seeking a General or Comprehensive Ophthalmologist for their current patient needs and future growth. You will be busy clinically and surgically. The need is legitimate and increasing. The office has a 12-month patient backlog and several area ophthalmologists have retired in the last few years.
This is a wonderful partnership opportunity and the doctors and staff are warm, welcoming and easy to work with. You will inherit patient volume with little to no marketing efforts and you’ll enjoy becoming a partner in a practice you can believe in. The incoming ophthalmologist will work with 2 other MD’s and 1 OD in this private practice. Anticipated patient encounters for the incoming doctor are 30 – 35 patients per day. Surgical volume is roughly 200+ cataract surgeries annually.
The practice has 1 location with 12 lanes and well maintained equipment and instrumentation. Surgeries are performed in a nearby multi-physician owned ASC. The office offers in house optical with 1 full-time Optometrist on staff.
This is a small Texas community with wonderful charm and friendly people. The local geography is a pleasant mixture of wide open spaces and a gentling rolling landscape representative of Texas’ hill country. The area is home to wonderful school options, lakes and parks. More than 130 miles of recreational trails meander through the landscape of this beautiful, family oriented community. The quality of life is excellent and the cost of living is low. It’s a wonderful place to call home.
In addition to the plentiful recreational options, the incoming doctor will enjoy local festivals and events such as- July Fireworks, Texas BB-Q, Rodeos, Cycling rallies, Gran Prix boat races, Square Dances, and more. Outside of the community you’ll enjoy easy access to several of the biggest metropolitan centers in the U.S.
