Join one of North Carolina’s most established and respected private optometry practices in the Raleigh, NC area.
For more than 70 years, this physician-owned practice has built its reputation on exceptional patient care, strong community relationships, and treating every patient like family. With six optometrists practicing across two modern offices in Garner and Fuquay-Varina, the group continues to experience strong patient demand and is looking to add another talented, relational optometrist to its collegial team.
This opportunity offers an outstanding blend of primary eye care and medical optometry. Approximately 30-40% of patient visits involve medical eye care, including diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataract management, red eyes, floaters, and other ocular conditions. The remaining schedule includes comprehensive eye exams and contact lens care, allowing doctors to enjoy a varied and rewarding practice.
The physicians genuinely enjoy working together. Doctors regularly consult with one another on challenging cases, making this an excellent environment for both new graduates seeking mentorship and experienced optometrists who appreciate a collaborative culture.

- No optical sales quotas or production pressure
- Practice two days per week in one office and three days in the other (approximately 20-25 minutes apart)
The Ideal Candidate
The practice welcomes both new graduates and experienced optometrists. The incoming doctor should be comfortable providing comprehensive eye care and interested in managing a broad range of ocular disease. Experience with contact lens fitting, including multifocal lenses, is helpful, though mentorship is readily available whenever needed.
Schedule
Monday through Friday
Clinic day typically concludes around 5:00 p.m.
No evening clinic
No Saturdays
No Sundays
Call responsibilities rotate among the doctors.
