Richmond, Virginia – Glaucoma Surgeon Partnership Opportunity. Private Practice & ASC.

Richmond, Virginia | Glaucoma Surgeon Partnership Opportunity. Inherit volume from retiring physician.

Busy, Established Practice | Physician-Owned Group | Partnership Track | ASC | Strong Internal Referral Base

An outstanding opportunity is available for a BC/BE, fellowship-trained Glaucoma Surgeon to join one of Virginia’s largest and most respected physician-owned, multi-specialty ophthalmology groups in Richmond.

This is an especially attractive opportunity because you will be replacing a retiring glaucoma specialist and stepping into a busy, mature practice with an established patient base and strong internal referrals. Rather than building a glaucoma practice from the ground up, you’ll have the opportunity to be busy from the start.

The Practice

You’ll join a collegial and collaborative team of of over 40 providers (ophthalmologists, optometrists and subspecialists) practicing across seven full-service locations in Central Virginia.

The group offers comprehensive subspecialty coverage, including:

  • Glaucoma
  • Cornea and refractive surgery
  • Retina
  • Oculoplastics
  • Pediatrics and adult strabismus
  • Comprehensive ophthalmology

The size and diversity of the group provide a robust internal referral network and the opportunity to collaborate closely with experienced physicians across virtually every major ophthalmic subspecialty.

One of the group’s recently expanded locations also features LASIK, Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) technology and a premier Dry Eye Center.

Busy Surgical Practice + ASC

Surgeons have access to the practice’s 6-operating-room ASC, performing more than 10,000 cases annually.

The practice is committed to providing its physicians with excellent clinical and surgical support, including modern diagnostic, laser and surgical technology and an experienced technical and administrative team.

Partnership Opportunity

This is a long-term career and partnership opportunity, not simply an employed position.

The practice has a well-defined track to partnership for physicians who demonstrate excellent clinical outcomes, high patient satisfaction and strong citizenship within the group.

For the right physician looking for a busy glaucoma practice, ownership potential and a collaborative private-practice environment, this is an exceptional opportunity.
