An exceptional ophthalmology practice in the thriving North Dallas suburbs is seeking a fellowship-trained Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgeon to join its growing team. The incoming surgeon will work across modern locations in Plano and Las Colinas, developing a busy surgical practice supported by an established patient base, strong referral network and high cataract volume.

The Opportunity

The incoming surgeon will provide comprehensive corneal and anterior segment care, including the diagnosis and treatment of corneal and external ocular disease. The position offers opportunities to perform:

  • DMEK, DSEK and penetrating keratoplasty
  • Cataract and other anterior segment procedures
  • LASIK, PRK and additional refractive procedures
  • Surgical planning and preoperative and postoperative care
  • Excellent premium lens conversion rates

The ideal candidate will be excited to build a thriving cornea and refractive practice while also contributing to the group’s existing, busy cataract surgical volume.

An Exceptional Clinical and Surgical Environment

The practice’s approximately 20,000-square-foot primary facility features:

  • 17 fully equipped examination lanes
  • Advanced diagnostic and surgical technology
  • An onsite LASIK suite
  • A modern, two-operating-room ASC
  • Femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery capabilities

A newer satellite location in beautiful Las Colinas includes seven examination lanes and an additional LASIK suite. Both locations provide an upscale, streamlined environment designed to support excellent outcomes and an outstanding patient experience.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Successful completion of an ophthalmology residency
  • Fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery
  • Board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology
  • Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A genuine commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
