A premier, family-owned multi-specialty ophthalmic practice in Baton Rouge is seeking an ambitious Cataract / Comprehensive Ophthalmologist with an advanced-technology IOL mindset to join our team.
For over four decades, our practice has set the standard for ophthalmic excellence across South Louisiana. Operating across 7 modern locations with 150+ team members, 5 MDs, and a strong network of ODs, we blend the high-caliber technology of an academic center with the personal touch and warmth of a family-rooted practice. As a preferred partner for industry rollouts, we remain at the absolute cutting edge of eye care innovation—giving you access to the latest surgical tools and premium IOL modalities.

- Unmatched Call Support: Virtually zero burden. Call is max 1 weekend per month (internal practice patients only, no city/ER call). Primary call is covered by practice ODs and a designated Fellow—your call is strictly secondary backup.
- Top-Tier Clinical Support: Efficient workflows powered by Modernizing Medicine (EMA). When running 40 patients per day, you are paired with 1 dedicated scribe and 2 technicians to keep your clinic running smoothly.

Compensation & Benefits Package

- Year 1 Base Guarantee: $400,000 base salary guarantee.
- Uncapped Earning Potential (Year 2+): Transition to a lucrative 30% of collections production model. Earn directly on what you generate with no ceiling.

What We Are Looking For
- BC/BE Ophthalmologist with strong anterior segment surgical skills.
- Passion for advanced technology IOLs (toric, multifocal, extended depth of focus) and premium patient outcomes.
- Collaborative mindset and desire to work within a team-oriented MD/OD co-management ecosystem.
- Experience with or willingness to master Modernizing Medicine (EMA) EMR.
