Our organization is a private, ophthalmologist owned multi-specialty practice located in Western North Carolina. We are recruiting a fellowship-trained Glaucoma Specialist to join our thriving independent practice. In business for 50 years, our group serves patients drawn from a twelve (12) county region of the State. The practice operates five (5) clinic locations and two (2) State-licensed and Medicare-credentialed outpatient surgery centers. Our provider team includes eleven (11) board-certified ophthalmologists and eight (8) state-licensed optometrists.
The successful candidate will partner with our current Glaucoma Specialist to offer a full range of advanced medical and surgical glaucoma services to existing patients as well as new patients referred into the practice from internal and external providers working throughout our service area. He or she will enjoy a busy medical and surgical practice working in modern facilities equipped with the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies. The anticipated schedule includes rotation among several of our clinic locations seeing 35-45 patients per day and regularly performing both comprehensive and glaucoma surgical procedures in our surgery centers. This position offers an excellent base salary, including opportunity for incentive bonus, and a full benefit package. This is a partnership track position with partnership typically available after 12 months of successful employment with the practice.
