Milwaukee, WI Retina Surgeon Partnership with a Physician-Owned, Retina-Only Group.

Retina Surgeon Partnership in Milwaukee with a Retina Only Group.

Join a retina-only group, step into a busy practice, and build toward ownership alongside fellow retina specialists.

Our established retina practice is seeking a fellowship-trained surgical retina specialist to join our physician-owned group in southeastern Wisconsin. The incoming surgeon will be busy from day 1, inheriting patients from an exiting surgeon.  You’ll love our collegial, collaborative culture.

Our team has built an efficient, streamlined organization focused entirely on retina care. Dedicated surgical coordinators, experienced technicians, scribes, and state-of-the-art equipment support the physicians’ work.  The group enjoys exceptional online reviews and a wonderful reputation in Milwaukee.  The patient care emphasis here is real: treat patients like family, deliver quality care, practice ethically and create an environment where staff genuinely enjoy their workplace.

Highlights of the opportunity:

  • Physician-owned, retina-only group with a partnership buy-in opportunity.
  • Written commitment not to sell to private equity.
  • Established patient base and a busy medical and surgical retina practice.
  • Competitive guaranteed base salary, significant production bonus, and signing bonus.
  • Efficient ASC model, generally with two operating rooms available per surgeon and 24/7 OR access.
  • Retina-only practice call, shared equally among physicians. No general ophthalmology, hospital, or emergency department call.
  • State-of-the-art equipment at all offices, plus clinical research and clinical trial opportunities.

Milwaukee: Lakefront Living, Art, and a Full Calendar

A Saturday might start with a bike ride along Lake Michigan, continue with lunch at the Milwaukee Public Market, and end with a Brewers game or live music. Milwaukee offers plenty of ways to enjoy your time away from the practice.

Known for its brewing heritage, Harley-Davidson, and its reputation as the “City of Festivals,” Milwaukee has a personality all its own. Summerfest, Irish Fest, and neighborhood celebrations bring music, food, and people together throughout the year.

  • Art and museums: Explore the lakefront Milwaukee Art Museum, discover the stories behind the motorcycles at the Harley-Davidson Museum, or spend an afternoon with the hands-on science exhibits and aquarium at Discovery World.
  • Family outings: The Milwaukee County Zoo, Discovery World, and a Brewers game offer several good answers to “What should we do this weekend?”
  • Green space and waterfront: Walk the lakefront paths at Lakeshore State Park, cycle the Oak Leaf Trail, or explore the city by kayak along its rivers. Summer brings beaches, outdoor concerts, farmers markets, and beer gardens.
  • Food and entertainment: Browse the Milwaukee Public Market, explore local restaurants and breweries, or make an evening of theater, live music, and a summer festival.

Milwaukee is a hot ticket! Condé Nast Traveler readers ranked it No. 5 among the best big cities in the United States in the 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards. For a surgeon considering southeastern Wisconsin, it’s a city worth taking time to explore during your visit.
