Central Florida – Retina Surgeon Partnership with Private Retina ONLY Group

Winter Haven, Florida – Retina Surgeon Opening. Private, Physician-Owned Retina Group. Partnership + ASC.

“I personally believe this is an excellent opportunity because we offer a strong foundation, a collaborative culture, and the opportunity to build a rewarding, long-term career. Our physicians support one another and work closely with staff, creating an environment where teamwork, mutual respect, and quality patient care are priorities. In my role, I see firsthand how much that collaboration contributes to the success of both our physicians and our employees.” – COO of the Practice

Retina Only Group – 35 Years in Business

There’s something appealing about joining a practice where retina is the entire focus—and where the physicians are actively investing in what comes next.

A longstanding, private retina-only group in Central Florida is seeking a retina surgeon to become its sixth physician. The opportunity combines practice growth with thoughtful succession planning, as an established physician prepares to reduce his schedule.

For a doctor looking for a collegial team, an efficient clinical setting, and a path to ownership, this is a practice worth getting to know.

A Retina-Only Team with a Collaborative Culture

The group includes six retina doctors (5 do surgery) and one optometrist, whose work focuses on low vision care.

Ask the physicians what they appreciate about working here, and the conversation comes back to autonomy, camaraderie, and patient care.  They value the ability to run their practice on their own terms, make decisions together, and stay focused on caring for patients. Younger physician partners are enthusiastic about investing in and growing the group.

The physicians describe the culture as collegial and collaborative and extraordinarily efficient and productive. You’ll join a team that values working together, sharing ideas, and building a strong future for this independent practice.

The group is physician-owned and is not affiliated with private equity.

Established Referrals, Efficient Care, and Clinical Research

With six locations throughout Central Florida and a strong referral base, the practice provides a broad range of retina care in a streamlined setting with state-of-the-art equipment.

Highlights include:

  • Retina-only practice with an established regional presence.
  • No ROP coverage or hospital call.
  • An active clinical research department.
  • Dedicated low vision care provided by the group’s optometrist.
  • Efficient outpatient surgery for surgical retina physicians.
  • ASC ownership opportunities.

Partnership and a Long-Term Future

The compensation package includes a highly competitive salary and productivity bonus, followed by a partnership opportunity after two years, if desired.

For surgical candidates, there are also opportunities to purchase shares in the ambulatory surgery centers where the group operates.

This is an opportunity to join an established practice with younger physician partners who want to keep investing in its people, capabilities, and future.

Growth, Succession, and an Established Patient Base

This opening is driven equally by growth and succession planning.

Growing Central Florida communities, underserved areas, and new treatments are expanding demand for retina care. At the same time, a senior physician is preparing to reduce his schedule, creating an opportunity for an incoming doctor to care for established patients while building new relationships.

That transition is already underway in some locations. The senior physician actively endorses incoming colleagues, with patients transitioning according to location and preference.

The group’s referral relationships extend back more than 35 years. Practice leadership anticipates that an incoming physician could build a full schedule in less than 12 months.

Make Your Home in Central Florida
