Build your career in medical optometry with an established Central Florida team offering technician and scribe support, mentorship, excellent compensation and a path to equity partnership.
Our ophthalmology / optometry practices are seeking optometrists to join a collaborative team of physicians. With strong patient demand, advanced diagnostic technology, and experienced clinical support, these opportunities offer meaningful medical work and room to grow your earnings.
Medical Optometry with a Team Behind You
These positions focus on medical optometry, including disease treatment and management, surgical co-management, and pre- and postoperative care.
You can expect:
- An established patient base and strong community relationships.
- Busy patient schedule, supported by both technicians and scribes.
- Mentorship to support your clinical development.
- Collaboration with experienced ophthalmologists and optometrists.
- Modern diagnostic technology to support comprehensive medical eye care.
- A practice with more than 60 years of clinical excellence and community trust.
Compensation and a Path to Ownership
Compensation is based on a percentage of collections, with reported typical annual earnings of $165,000–$250,000, depending on productivity and collections. This model applies to new graduates, residency-trained optometrists, and experienced doctors.
Earnings are collections-based rather than a guaranteed base salary plus a production bonus, with uncapped earning potential as you build your practice.
Additional financial opportunities include:
- Florida signing bonuses ranging from $15,000–$40,000, depending on the location and the experience, skills and overall suitability of the incoming OD.
- Up to $10,000 in relocation assistance.
- An equity partnership track offering the opportunity to build long-term value through ownership.
Full-Time Benefits
- Healthcare benefits and 401(k)
- Four weeks of paid time off
- Paid holidays
- CME reimbursement and paid professional membership dues
- Employer-paid medical licensure, DEA registration, malpractice coverage, and credentialing
